How COLMINK Explore ranking works
Explore shows real stores in an order that follows fixed criteria. Here they are, in the order they count.
Criterion 1
The store's plan
Paid plans rank higher. It is the main difference between plans and it is what the merchant is paying for. No store is hidden for being on the free plan.
Criterion 2
The store's quality
Within the same plan, a more complete store comes first: cover, logo, description, products with a photo and a price. An abandoned store never sits above a cared-for one on the same plan.
Criterion 3
Recent activity
Stores with recent movement — orders, updated products — come before stores that have been still for a long time.
Criterion 4
New store boost
A newly published store gets 30 days of extra visibility, once. When it ends the store moves down, but it always stays in the directory.
Criterion 5
Searching by name
When someone searches a store's exact name, that store comes first, whatever its plan.
Criterion 6
Campaigns and highlights
COLMINK runs campaigns and highlights (seasonal moments, categories, local commerce). Whenever a position results from payment, it is identified as such.
What never influences the order
- Payments outside the plans and the published campaigns.
- Bought reviews, or ratings a store did not receive from real customers.
- Personal data about whoever is searching.
If these criteria change, this page changes with them.
